Within walking distance there are many restaurants, bars (bodegas) a big communal swimming-pool and play area, historic buildings, a wine museum with the possibility to test wines and buy typical local ceramic and decorative items. In Ojen are festivals and functions throughout the year. Please ask the tourist board.

The duplex apartment has 2 very spacious double bedrooms, master bedroom with balcony and direct access to the plunge pool and 1 bathroom on the ground floor.

Ojen lies about 10 km from Marbella, 10 min. drive to the center, between the Sierra Alpujata and the Sierra Blanca, on the road to Coin. One of the highlights of the area is the El Juanar Valley, an area of immense natural beauty, with its winding roads and steep hillsides. The village itself is surrounded by orchards and retains its original Arabic theme, with houses built on different levels to accomodate the mountainside on which they stand, and is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful in the Province. This is a small village, with a population of some 2,000, that remains unspoiled and is very typically Spanish.
