General renting terms and conditions for short term rentals

I.  Reservation
In order for us to accept your booking your party leader must read these conditions. The person who signs or 'submits' the booking form does so on behalf of all the members of the party and binds them jointly to these terms and conditions. When you ask us to confirm your booking we will allocate you your chosen property and confirm your reservation. All payments are to be in  Euro € . Any additional nights will be charged on a pro-rata basis. 
 

II. Initial Payment
At the time of your booking you will be asked to pay an initial deposit of 50% of the total cost of the property. This payment is your only commitment until 6 weeks prior to your departure.

III. Payment of Balance
The balance of the holiday cost must be paid at least 6 weeks prior to departure. Please ensure that payment is made within that time otherwise we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled, in which case you could be liable to pay us the cancellation charges detailed below. If you arrange your holiday within 6 weeks of travelling then full payment is due with your booking.

IV. Cancellation terms
If you wish to cancel your booking you must do so by sending written confirmation. The person who signed/submitted the booking form must also sign the letter. In the event of a cancellation and to compensate for the expense of processing your booking and for any loss that may result from being unable to re-sell the holiday, we charge the following cancellation fees:

More than 56 days Loss of Deposit 

56 to 29 days 60%

28 to 15 days 80%

14 to 0 days 100%

Departure day or after 100%

V. Insurance

Holiday and travel Insurance, including cancellation cover, is essential for your own protection and we strongly recommend that you and all members of your party be suitably insured.

VI. Party Size
At no time must any more persons occupy a property than stated on the booking form, except with prior written agreement. Property owners or their agents reserve the right to refuse admittance if this condition is not observed.

VII. Problems With Your Property
If you have a problem during your holiday, immediately inform us. We will then endeavour to put things right. If you fail to do this we cannot accept responsibility, as we have not had the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem. Any callout after the local working hours 10.00 am- 2.00 pm and 4.00-8.00 pm will be charged.

VIII. Check in / Check out times
Your accommodation is available after 6pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. The maid, gardener, pool service need this time to prepare the accommodation properly for incoming guests.

VIIII. Change of accommodation
On rare occasions it may be unavoidable to change your chosen villa because of circumstances beyond our control; we will endeavour to inform you of this asap and offer either alternative accommodation of similar or superior standard, a refund if nothing is suitable or discuss other options.

X. Breakages & Damages
We request a security deposit. You will be required to pay this amount (depending on the chosen property) with the  balance payment. This deposit will be  refunded after your return, normally within 7 - 14 days of your departure from the property, after taking into account any breakages or damage.

XI. Property Standards
We have carefully selected and inspected all the properties that we advertise and we endeavour to maintain high standards. However, inevitably, items break or require maintenance, therefore please be aware that you may encounter maintenance staff and gardeners during your stay. Please also remember that these are people's homes - please leave the villa in a reasonably clean and tidy condition. We reserve the right to charge for extra cleaning if necessary.

XII. Extra - Costs

If not otherwise stated in the property description there will be an extra charge for additional usage of electricity other than the usage allowed and included in the price. 

Any request for extra service will be charged individually, please do not hesitate to ask.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Airport Pickup and Drop-off Service

We can arrange for a personal driver to collect you from the airport and take you to the property. The cost of this service is 60 Euros for max 4 persons. If you need a people carrier for more than 4 persons, the cost of the rented car will be added. We can also provide an airport drop-off service, at the conclusion of your holiday, if required.

Arrival Welcome Pack

We can arrange for a selection of basic grocery items to await you, on your arrival at the property. This service is especially useful if you are arriving during the night or on a Sunday. The cost of this service is 40 Euros for basic grocery. Special wishes or requirements (like kosher grocery, etc.) may cost extra.


Mid-stay Clean and Laundry Change Service

Guests staying for two weeks or longer may like to make use of our mid-stay clean and laundry change service. The property will be given a basic clean, together with bedding and towel changes. The cost of this service is 15 Euros per person.

PAYMENTS:

We use the secure PayPal e-mail system, making it easier for you.

After we receive your signed booking form, we send you a payment request via Paypal per e-mail. You will get a confirmation and reservation voucher, which secures your reservation and the property owner will be informed about your booking.
